The answer is: Dolce & Gabbana (abbreviation: D&G).
But who is behind D&G? The two Italian fashion designers Domenico Dolce, born on 13th of August 1958 in Polizzi, Sicily and Stefano Gabbana, born on 14th of November 1962 in Milan.
In the year 1985 the two created the Fashion Company D&G, which now belongs to the most well-known offerers of Luxury-Goods.
Up to 2005 the two were also a Couple.
Almost all of the fashion lines of D&G are extravagant. And always if the “Fashion-Gods” believe they know what will be trendy the next season, Dolce & Gabbana know it better. The two have proven that 2001, when everybody believed, coat of animals would be out.
The Animal Rights Activists revolted. The Models on the Catwalks presented themselves naked – by the way, the same Models today wearing Mink Coats when having their Tea Time - D&G held against it and made everything right. In these years the two were the only designers, producing bags, shoes and belts in genuine fur and Leoprint.
They are still successful until today, but of course they are not any longer the one and only designing Fashion with genuine fur. If you see jacket or a coat, Leoprint lined - the chances stand well that you see a D&G. Here however no skin is used, but finest drapery. |
